Final Act

You know how you can relax when the final act begins because you know the climax is about to be resolved? That is exactly how I feel now. The plot has been established, the play is drawing to it's end.
What exactly am I speaking allegorically about? Houses! What else is in our lives right now? I breathe, eat, sleep houses. But it is almost over.
We had a good friend inspect the new house on Saturday and he informed us that it would most likely fail inspection and gave a list of reasons why. They were fairly minor issues, nothing with the actual structure, and could be fixed within a day or two. So, we were not surprised when the city failed it today. Hopefully things will be quickly corrected so we can have it appraised and close! I am praying for two weeks because......
Drum roll please:
Yes, folks, it is true. We sold our house today! A young man has placed an offer on our house and he accepted the counter offer. Yay! And we actually are getting fairly close to what we listed for. Double Yay! It is amazing how the Lord works. He truly does have a plan. Things are beginning to fall into place. Quickly. Almost a eency weency bit too quickly but I promise I am not complaining! :)

Oh Amber, that's great! A wise man once said something about, "after the trial of your faith cometh the blessings".

Congrats on selling your house and on the new one. Lots of work in your future. Don't envy that part but I wish I could get a new house. :)
