When Dad is in charge

Dan has been so wonderful this week. I feel great and it is mostly due to him being such a supportive husband. He has spent his time keeping Grayson and Alora entertained so I can focus on Aiden and myself. Didn't I mention last night that I read the entire Twilight series in the past week and a half??? I am very grateful for him!

It is fun to watch the difference between moms and dads, though. Here are some highlights....

  • Alora's time out is always so much sadder when it comes from Dad. She is Daddy's little girl and it hits her hard when he punishes her. When I punish her...se la vi! She could care less.

  • Breakfast time is chocolate chip waffles with low fat frozen yogurt! That is a million times better than Life Cereal. Go Dad!

  • Grayson gets to golf. What is better than that?

Hey!! Thanks for the invite to your blog...it was fun to see your kiddos! They are adorable, especially that "little" baby. I can't believe you had a baby inside you that was over 9 lbs! That's crazy!! Hopefully we can see you soon!

I am glad you have some quiet time to read! So you have to tell me what you thought of the books...

I cannot stop thinking about the books (that really isn't something uncommon for me, though. After I read a good book I daydream about it for weeks). It was a fun story!

The kids are all so cute! I love the way dad's take care of the kids...Chad isn't nearly as cool as Dan though. He's never put frozen yogurt on my boys chocolate chip waffles! I am on the 3rd book, Eclipse. Totally addicted. I have only read about 1 other book in the past 5 years, I'm not a reader. But a friend got me into this series and I can't stop! Oh, and the kids LOVED Lagoon. There is a huge kid area with small kid friendly rides. My kids would go every day if I'd take them. You should go.

I think we will take a trip to Lagoon in the early fall...wait, that is now! I tell ya, that series is seriously addicting! I just finished another of her books, the Host. It isn't quite as addicting (which is good because then I can take care of my family!) but still fun to read. Just wait until you get to book four. It was my fave!
